LOVE THIS STUFF!I have acne-prone skin and have for years overscrubbed and medicated to get my skin clean but hate the drying harsh effects of all that. Been using this for about a week and it's incredibly gentle but still suds so I feel it's cleaning. Doesn't strip my skin. Minimizes pores (not a miracle but definite difference). Leaves my face very smooth but not tight feeling. Looking forward to trying "Skin Genesis: Pore Minimizing Skin Re-smoother" for even more pore-minimizing and overall smoothness!
I really like this stuff...
I bought it here because I couldn't find it in the regular department stores anymore. It works to make my pores smaller and skin healthier all around. It doesn't do much for dark spots so don't buy this thinking it will help with that. It's safe and soft for even my sensitive skin. It also has the added bonus of removing ALL makeup in one gentle wash!
Wonderful Cleanser
I wish I had taken a "before" picture. Then it would be easier to prove to myself that I'm not just engaging in wishful thinking! My skin is smoother, feels softer, and my pores are much less noticeable. The scent is not strong enough to be labeled "envigorating" but it is definitely uplifting--a bit of a mood enhancer. About six weeks ago I began using the L'Oreal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizer Gel Cleanser and Olay Regenerist UV Defense SPF 15. I'm quite pleased with both of these affordable products.

awesome.I have always been extreeeeemely skeptical of any products like this, because there are literally hundreds of them when you walk into that intimidating section of the store for skin-care items. It always seemed like a lot of bull to me but I have always had pores that approximately resemble potholes in size... I'm 25 but my skin always looked sort of loose and tired to me. So I figured why not... and this stuff actually seems to work. I"ve been using it for about a month now, and not only does it not irritate my "everything makes me break out" skin, but it actually reduced the appearance of my pores. I caught my reflection in a mirror the other day and for the first time in years I was actually pleasantly surprised by the appearance of my skin. So if you have pores that kind of embarrass you this is worth a shot, in my opinion.
It isn't a gimmick
Pros: I won't claim this to be a miracle worker for my pores; this single product doesn't take care of all my pore problems by itself. But it's a great addition to my skincare routine and it does help with pores. It says you should put on a moisturizer afterwards, but it makes my skin feel so smoooooth so I often skip the moisturizer, usually on accident. I LOVE how this makes my skin feel after just one use. The texture of my skin feels so youthful. You also can't even feel it on your skin which is another bonus. Cons: The container it comes in looks cool, but it's a joke: this cream is a little thick and it often clogs the pump. The pump also doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, and considering this is only 1 oz of of cream, it begins to feel empty after just a few days of use. Perhaps I use it too generously. This does work. I have used it almost 2 months and it has helped greatly with my pore size. But I have found a way to make it work even better. I mix 2 pumps of this with an equal amount of 10% AHA and use it morning and evening on face and throat/chest after cleansing. It works better for me this way. My pores and fine lines are so much improved , I can hardly believe it when I look in the mirror. Please L'Oreal do not stop making this. I have searched high and low for something that really shows results , and this does. I give this a 10!

Best benzoyl peroxide treatment, much cheaper than ProactivProactiv is wildly overpriced, but people swear by it - but they're only really swearing by benzoyl peroxide. I have a regimen that's actually better, since it provides sun protection when you go outside. Just google - any sort of acne ingredient makes your skin sensitive to the sun, and if you DON'T use an spf every day, you're at greater risk for skin cancer! Clear Pore is 3.5% benzoyl peroxide in a creamy, calming cleanser. It's the absolute best and cheapest cleanser for the money. It's not the greatest mask, though, since it doesn't have the right ingredients for a mask. Use Clear Pore combined with a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide gel or cream at night - acne dot org works, or Proactiv's lotion only (which you can buy on Amazon, much cheaper than the Proactiv website). Solvere Acne clearing gel is also 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. Use a sulphur/clay mask once a week (after you've steamed your face in the shower or with a hot washcloth held over your face) to really...
Great for adults with acne.
I still have acne as an adult, and I searched forever for a product that had benzoyl peroxide as the active ingredient because it doesn't over dry my skin. This cleanser goes a long way on your face; you don't need alot of it. It doesn't burn, but it can got warm if left on as a mask. This product has helped me get my acne under control and to a minimum. I use it twice daily (morning and night) and maybe a third time, depending on my activities during the day. Warning: It will burn like fire in your eyes.

Beeman i have got the exact same problem as you, got sum disgusting looking pores on my nose. it really is depressing me out coz i know they can be seen by others. i just do not know what do to about them. chicklet what witch hazel did you use, could you explain a bit more please coz i really want to get rid of them!!! can anyone else offer any help on how to get rid of these pores
Not bo butt in, but…….Witch Hazel is usually in the first aid aisle. It is similar to isopropyl alcohol. It is an astringent/antiseptic. It is less harmful or damaging than alcohol, though. Many of the commercial anstringents use either alcohol or witch hazel as a base. In addition, withc hazel is very inexpensive. Good luck!
