Email the seller with any questions before you order.I did email first and was told the eyeshadow would look most like pictures 3 and 4. Each color is a little smaller than a US dime. The darker colors are great. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using an eyeshadow primer, such as Urban Decay Primer Potion, before applying these colors as it will make the colors stay on a lot long, appear more vibrant and you'll be able to use less makeup for a brighter look. Trust me, girls, if you don't have a primer, GET ONE! :) I've added a picture of my actual set above, it closely resembles the sellers 4th picture. I like how it has a huge mirror in the case. I personally think this is a great deal for the money. I use a lot of MAC, Urban Decay and Smashbox eyeshadows, and I feel, if used with a primer, these colors will do just as well if you're on a budget. Even though you don't get a ton of each color, they're more pigmented than drugstore brands, like Cover Girl, Wet n' Wild, etc., so you need less when applying.
Good for such a low price
I bought this because it had a multitude of colors for such a cheap price. While the shadows may be small, they are nicely pigmented and when used with a primer they are great. Very good for the money conscious make-up lover or colorful college student.

COASTAL SCENTS ROCKS!!!I was browsing [...] for videos when i ran into a video comparing Coastal Scents to MAC. So i thought, "i have to try this stuff out..." I'm a college student so i CANNOT afford MAC however for $25 including shipping, i can afford Coastal Scents' 88 eye shadow shimmer palette. I went to [...] and bought this palette, i received it in 3 days and i am VERY impressed by the quality of the product. I went out and bought the Too Faced Shadow Insurance for $17 at Sephora since everyone keeps raving about how the shadow stays on the whole day and touch ups are not required. So i applied the primer and then i put the shadow on top it this morning, it's almost 10pm and my eye shadow hasn't creased or faded!!!! The eye shadow is VERY pigmented and the colors are beautiful! All the eye shadows are very shimmery, if you don't like that, Coastal Scents does have the same palette but not in shimmer. Some of the colors are very out there, so if you aren't really into blues, greens, pinks,...
Colors are too frosty
I love shimmery colors but these were over the top. I wish I'd stuck with my initial thought to go with the matte as I read it has matte, satin and shimmer colors. These shadows are very vibrant but if you plan to ONLY use this palette for everyday wear then stick to the matte as these would be too frosty for work and even for a casual look. I also found that these shadows are very powdery and leave a lot of glitter fall out. All in all I think these shadows are better suited for the evening. I would recommend the original 88 palette bc you can always add your own shimmer on top giving you more control on the look you're trying to achieve.
Awesome
I am a cosmetologist and found this makeup palette to be of hight quality for the money. I was so impressed that I just purchased 2 more, one for my niece and another for myself. It is fun to experiment with all the colors, I get to try combinations that would just be too expensive if I had to buy them individually. There is something to go with every outfit! I use MAC foundation and the Coastal Scents eye shadow lasts all day with that foundation. I use brushes instead of the sponge applicators because the brushes release the pigment onto the eyelid where it belongs, whereas the sponge type just absorb the color.

Soft neutrals, great color payoff, good staying power, nice containerI like this eye shadow palette because the colors are great for everyday wear. Some of the shades have a bit of shimmer while others are more matte. The only downside of this particular shadow palette is that I kept it in my purse and from normal day-to-day purse abuse the shadows all cracked and broke into pieces. Obviously this is my own fault, but I wanted others to know about this! Treat this one gently and you'll love it! :)
Great neutral colors
Great mirror, great colors, what more could you ask for? I use the black for an eyeliner and it works great. I like that some are shimmery and some are matte. They go on smoothly and the color selection is great for everyday or a smokey night time look. Very pleased with this purchase.

Colors are well pigmented and the overall quality is great! The colors in this palette have a slight shimmer and are rather neutral in tone, which is what I expected. Overall, I'm pleased!
